My hope is to encourage my students to do the same. Posting here on LinkedIn is what built up my network and helped me land my jobs! Here’s my schedule:Aug/Sept – Intro to CybersecurityOct – Computer Networking FundamentalsNov/Dec – Microsoft Security System AdministrationDec/Jan – Integrating Your Infrastructure (Linux, Cloud, Python)Jan/Feb– Securing Your NetworkFeb/Mar– Designing Your Cybersecurity InfrastructureMar/Apr – Social Engineering & Ethical HackingApr/May – Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR)May/June – Threat Hunting & IntelligenceShould be an awesome 9 months 🤓 🍎 📚 Tell me, what’s new with all of you?? I failed course 4 three times. Linux and SQL were a challenge for me to grasp, and I almost cried at some point due to frustration. I watched the video repeatedly until rewatching started to make sense.Eventually, I did it, excitedly mastering the material and successfully completing the Google Cybersecurity program on Coursera. Although I am still facing a hurdle with ID verification, i won’t mind any help from anyone who has done this before. This was a very challenging, incredibly insightful, and rewarding experience for me, allowing me to deepen my understanding of the intricate world of cybersecurity. I learnt about so many things, which are but not limited to: 📍SIEM tools (e.g Splunk, Chronicle), Packet Capture and Analysis (e.g tcdump, Wireshark), Programming for security tasks (e.g Pyton, Linux, SQL), Intrusion detection system and very well detailed explanation on portfolio building, acing interviews and resume) I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Adesola Oguntimehin. I learned of this course through one of her posts, and I also used the referral code.If you're passionate about cybersecurity as a newbie just like me, I encourage you to explore the Google cybersecurity program on Coursera and also follow Adesola Oguntimehin for helpful insights.I am undeterred and eager to continually expand my knowledge in cybersecurity, and look forward to applying what I've learned in future opportunities. #googlecybersecurity #coursera #skillsenhancement #professionaldevelopment #learningcybersecurity
